"In a pleasant part of the province of Livorno and just in the Vada country rises the 'Fattoria Due Casoni' that, under
the direction of Mr. Rozzi Gaetano, has become to one deserving consideration [...]"

In this way is opened the chapter dedicated to our farm in the book "Gold pages of the Tuscany agriculture" printed in 1934 by Arno Publishers.

The preparation of the zone and the construction of the house was work of the owner Leopoldo Granduca di Toscana in the early '800.

The 'Fattoria Due Casoni' in the early '900, nowadays 'Vallescaia', was bought in 1925 by the family of my father: Gaetano Rozzi.

Between the ' 26 and the ' 30 he did with great merit important works
of land restructure with hydraulic sistemation of lands and the
construction of an artesian sink for the irrigation.

New stables were constructed for the breeding of cow and equine for
fields job, according to our family region traditions: the Lombardy.

In fact the old stables were abandoned and new structures were realized, separated from the houses.

For all the '900, before and after the war, the small farm has
covered an important role in the agricultural sector of the zone,
basing its activity in the breeding and the job of the fields.
